Bring your dog to work day...

As I was working this morning on setting up a studio in one of our spare bedrooms, I realized that my sweet little lucy was watching my every move.  I couldn't help but snag these shots.

She seemed a little confused and unsure of what was happening to what used to be her bedroom.  She actually made me feel a little guilty.

The more I look at those big brown puppy eyes, the more convinced I become that I have my very own studio dog.  So, Lil' Lucy, girl...you win.  :)  I guess every day will be bring your dog to work day!

Tabby and Devon

I've always loved photography.  I can remember my very first camera.  Mr. Bruce, a friend of the family, gave me a point and shoot camera that he pulled out of a yardsale pile.  I've been shooting all my life and have recently gotten more serious about the art.  So, with the decision to pursue my interests further, I am publishing my first official shoot.  This weekend, my husband and I spent an afternoon with his family in the mountains of Greenville, SC.  His sister Tabitha and her fiancé, Devon, are getting married in July so I took my camera along and snapped these shots.

Tabitha and Devon started dating while in high school and are still together years later.

 Isn't this view absolutely breathtaking?

 Young love...

In July, Tabby and Devon will be getting married and beginning their lives together.  I'm excited to see where the road leads them.  Welcome to the family, Devon!  I pray God blesses your lives together!
